A successful and rapidly growing organisation based in the Bridlington area is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable) to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant or Sales Ledger professional looking to join a stable and expanding group within a supportive, fast-paced environment.
On offer is a competitive salary of £26,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience), alongside free on-site parking and a full-time, office-based role within a well-established finance team.
As the Finance Assistant - Accounts Receivable, your role will include (but will not be limited to):
Managing a portfolio of accounts, proactively chasing and collecting outstanding balances
Producing weekly aged debtor reports with analysis of outstanding debts
Completing account reconciliations and resolving queries
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Supporting colleagues to ensure sales invoices are processed accurately
Providing wider support to the Finance Team as required
To be successful in this Finance Assistant position, you should ideally have:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
Confident communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
The ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of tasks
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with Sage Line 50 and/or Xero would be advantageous, but not essential
This role is office based and easily commutable from Bridlington, Driffield, Filey, Scarborough and surrounding areas, with free on-site parking available.
