About the Design & Technology Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Design & Technology Teacher to join our successful department. The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4, with a focus on inspiring students through engaging lessons and practical learning.
Responsibilities of the Design & Technology Teacher:
* Plan and deliver challenging, creative, and hands-on Design & Technology lessons that inspire and engage students.
* Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in extracurricular activities related to Design & Technology, including clubs and workshops.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
* A degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
* Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level, ideally including practical applications.
* A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and exam specifications.
