Jigsaw Arts Enfield is a small business in Enfield, EN2 0SP. We are creative, rewarding, and our goal is to provide fun, engaging and exciting Performing Arts Classes for children aged 3-18yrs.
We are looking for a strong, confident, experienced and enthusiastic performing arts teacher to take over from our current teacher mid-term. A love for performing arts and teaching is essential You will ideally have a qualification in drama/performing arts or education.
Classes take place on Saturday Mornings at Enfield County Lower School from 9.30am-1pm. Pay is £75 for the morning. You must be available from November 1st-December 6th. This is a fixed term contract, with a possible opportunity to continue on with us in January for our Spring Term. A handover lesson will take place and all material for the term will be provided.
Enhanced DBS is essential. We can help you with your application for this if you do not have one.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver lessons to students
- Create a positive, fun and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance childrens experience
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Patience and understanding towards students of different abilities
- Creativity in developing engaging teaching materials and activities
- Strong organisational skills to plan lessons
