We are looking for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly team of pharmacy staff at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Based in the Royal Hampshire County Hospital Winchester with some cross site working.
Main duties of the job
To support the Pharmacy Digital Systems team and Procurement Manager in the daily Pharmacy service.
To provide IT support for digital systems, reports and data as required.
To support the Medicines Optimisation Programme by providing extensive pharmacy procurement support.
To manage maintenance of the Pharmacy Computer Systems by monitoring the systems and to proactively anticipate, identify and resolve problems.
To ensure digital issues are logged and resolved with the relevant support staff e.g. Trust IT department, commercial software suppliers.
To work with the Pharmacy Procurement Manager to investigate outstanding orders, follow up on outstanding payments and medicine optimisation matters.
