Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join our client's finance department in Penicuik on a 3 month temporary, part-time basis (3 days). If you have transactional finance experience and are looking to join a supportive team, you'd be encouraged to apply.
Pay: £13-£16 per hour

Your responsibilities will include:
* Raise sales invoices and posting to sales ledger.
* Post and reconcile receipts.
* Chase outstanding payments.
* Maintain and update relevant spreadsheets.
* Deliver nominal and departmental coding.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Prepare monthly creditors report.
* Monthly upload of payments to bank.
* Manual payment of invoices if required.
* Download credit card statements.
Skills and experience that would benefit your application:
* Experience in sales and purchase ledger.
* 1+ year experience in transactional finance.
* Excellent numeracy skills.
* Excel proficient.
* Knowledge of accounting software.
