JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will support both existing and new business opportunities, driving a Right First-Time philosophy that positions us as a trusted supplier in the aerospace industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide quality and inspection support across all stages of production.
2. Maintain quality control in line with business standards and customer requirements.
3. Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and verify component compliance.
4. Identify recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
5. Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5Y, SPC, and other quality techniques.
6. Manage non-conformance procedures and calibration activities.
7. Support internal audits and maintain the companys Quality Management System (ISO & ISO ).
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects and new product introductions.
9. Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.
REQUIREMENTS
10. Experience in aerospace manufacturing (NADCAP knowledge advantageous).
11. Strong engineering background with ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
12. Skilled in using precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, DTI).
13. Previous internal auditing experience and familiarity with ISO standards.
14. Knowledge of machining, fabrication, treatments, and chemical/special processes.
15. Practical problem-solving skills and experience with lean tools (8D, Kaizen).
16. IT proficiency and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
17. CMM experience desirable but not essential.
18. Awareness of FMEA, APQP, PPAP for New Product Introduction.
