Protocol Education is working closely with a welcoming secondary school seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, support student progress, and play a key role in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson content in the absence of the class teacher
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
* Support students with their learning and respond to questions confidently
* Provide lesson feedback to subject leaders and follow school reporting protocols
* Build positive relationships with students and staff, promoting a safe and inclusive culture
We’re Looking For:
* Graduates considering a career in teaching or education
* Individuals with experience working with young people, either in schools or youth settings
* Confident communicators with strong classroom presence and behavioural management skills
* A creative and proactive approach to supporting students
* Organised, reliable, and committed to promoting pupil wellbeing and safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
