Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our dynamic and growing Real Estate Advisory team. In this role, you will help clients think strategically about how their buildings could be used to transform the way they work. This involves engaging with key decision-makers to understand their strategy and vision; using data for advanced analysis of real estate portfolios; and developing business cases to unlock funding opportunities. The role requires quick thinking, complex problem-solving, and excellent attention to detail. Each project is unique, reflecting the diverse requirements, challenges, and goals of our clients.
Our Real Estate Advisory team operates nationwide across sectors including health, education, defence, government, and commercial. We collaborate with senior leaders to unlock the potential of real estate assets, develop strategic visions, and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and resilience. Our services include Estate Strategies, Business Cases, Asset Management, and Workplace Consulting, with team members encouraged to work across sectors for a comprehensive understanding of our work.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored real estate solutions.
2. Conduct thorough research and analysis, such as feasibility studies, to support business cases and estate solutions.
3. Provide expert advice on current real estate and sector industry trends.
4. Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
5. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, identify new opportunities, and prepare proposals.

Qualifications
* Deep knowledge of the UK Real Estate industry.
* 2-5 years of experience in consultancy or client-side roles.
* Experience in creating strategic documents like Business Cases and Estate Strategies.
* Understanding of the HM Treasury Green Book 5-Case Model.
* Experience within at least one industry sector such as Defence, Local or Central Government, Healthcare, Education, or Commercial, including relevant legislation and policies.
* Effective communication skills to understand and address client needs.
* Desirable: relevant qualifications or degrees in Real Estate, Construction Management, or similar.
* Desirable: Security Clearance (SC) or willingness to obtain it.
* Desirable: Leadership experience and project management skills.
* Desirable: Financial literacy and proficiency in tools like Excel and Power BI.
* Understanding of benefits management is a plus.
Flexibility to travel and work across sectors is required. Turner & Townsend supports hybrid working arrangements.
