Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of healthcare and patient handling equipment across your local patch. You will attend customer sites including hospitals, care homes and specialist facilities, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and fully operational. Key Responsibilities • Service and maintain healthcare equipment including hoists, ceiling track hoists, specialist baths, beds and patient handling equipment • Carry out LOLER inspections and weight testing on lifting equipment • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults • Complete service reports and documentation using PDA systems • Provide excellent customer service whilst working on customer sites • Ensure all work is carried out in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations Requirements • Experience working as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician or Maintenance Engineer • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills • LOLER inspection experience (desirable but training can be provided) • Full UK driving licence • Strong communication and customer service skills What We Offer • £33,000 – £35,000 salary depending on experience • Company van (available for private use) • Company phone and PDA • Full company uniform provided • Overtime opportunities • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 26 days with service) • Healthcare plan • Company pension • Profit sharing scheme (after successful completion of probation) • Full product training and ongoing support • Supportive team environment with opportunities for progression About Medaco Medaco provide servicing and compliance solutions for healthcare equipment nationwide.
