Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Manor Park, Runcorn (WA7)
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15 & Friday 08:30 - 16:00

Our client, a market leading Manufacturer within their sector, are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for their next challenge.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and manage comprehensive procurement strategies, policies and procedures that align with overall business objectives.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, market trends and sourcing opportunities.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and demand management initiatives without compromising quality.
* Negotiate and agree on contract terms, pricing and service level agreements.
* Draft, review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Build, maintain and manage long-term relationships with contracts.
* Oversee the procure-to-pay process, including the management of purchase orders.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
* Address and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience within the procurement position.
* Excellent negotiation and influence skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Understanding of commercial and financial drivers, budgeting and cost control.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* IT literate.
