Job Description
The Insolvency Treasury Cashier will manage cashiering operations for the National Treasury team, overseeing a caseload and delegating tasks to Treasury administrators.
A look into the role
* Maintain client accounting records for insolvent estates
* Process job set up and closure forms
* Use Insolvency Practitioner Software (IPS) and archive documentation electronically
* Review and complete daily transactions – receipts, payments, journals (all types)
* Process cheque and electronic payments, including bank verifications and sanction checks
* Open, administer, and close estate bank accounts
* Carry out accurate bank reconciliations
* Communicate with major high‑street banks, Insolvency Services, and internal teams to resolve queries and perform administrative tasks

Minimum Criteria
* Proven experience as an Insolvency Cashier with a strong understanding of insolvency procedures and regulatory compliance
* Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Exceptional numeracy and analytical skills
* Ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining robust records
* Discreet, reliable, and trustworthy in handling confidential information
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
