My client, based in Thurmaston, is seeking a HR Assistant to join their growing business on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Head of HR, completing general HR duties along with supporting various ad hoc HR projects.

HR Assistant - The Role:
* Provide comprehensive HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business.
* Assist with career opportunities, recruitment, and arranging pre-screening, assessments, and interviews.
* Liaise with hiring managers to organise inductions, produce induction packs, and ensure all necessary documentation is received.
* Check right to work and other documentation applicable to the specific role.
* Update and maintain accurate employee and leaver records.
* Update and maintain accurate attendance and probation records.
* Produce HR letters and undertake general administrative tasks such as scanning, running reports, and uploading documents onto the HR database.
* Support managers in disciplinary and grievance hearings.
* Support the Head of HR with ad hoc HR projects.
HR Assistant - The Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with previous HR experience who has good knowledge of general HR policies and procedures.
You will be a strong communicator, able to multitask effectively, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
