Affiliate Associate Director
Overview of role
As a senior member of the team, you will support and empower colleagues to effectively manage and grow client relationships, providing strategic guidance and serving as a senior point of contact for both clients and planning teams. You will play a key role in developing and implementing consistent departmental processes to deliver best practice and improve efficiency. Line management responsibilities include setting standards within the department and supporting the professional development of your team.
You will also contribute to new business efforts by supporting responses and pitches, ensure finance and billing processes are compliant with WPP GroupM guidelines, and implement clear departmental procedures. By driving automation within the Affiliate department, you will enhance profitability and time efficiency, while building and supporting strategic relationships with networks. A strong commercial understanding is essential to support the Director in delivering departmental profitability and income growth.
Reporting of the role
The role reports to the Affiliate Director and will include direct line management of your team.

Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
* Built strong relationships with the affiliate team as well as wider EMC business
* Nurtured existing relationships from your experience across network and publisher contacts for the benefit of your new client accounts
* Fully immersed yourself into your client accounts
In six months, you would have:
* Cemented yourself as the leading point of contact for your accounts within your client team
* Reviewed and implemented new processes to improve efficiency and service delivery
* Confidently supported in new business pitches and sought out growth opportunities
In 12 months, you would have:
* Taken full responsibility for your overall client team performance and be recognized for delivering high-value strategic outputs
* You will be a point of expertise within the team, coaching members to challenge and grow
* Clients will recognize you as the key driver behind their success
Responsibilities of the role
* Support and empower the team to manage and grow clients, including supporting strategy and being a senior point of contact for clients and planning teams, including escalation and issue resolution
* Influence and develop processes to achieve consistent departmental ways of working, delivering best practice and improving efficiency
* Line management responsibilities for team members, setting standards within the department
* Support new business responses and pitches
* Ensure finance and billing processes are compliant with WPP GroupM guidelines, with clear procedures implemented and followed
* Drive automation within the department to enhance profitability and efficiency
* Build and support strategic relationships with networks
* Support the Director in delivering departmental profitability and growth through commercial understanding

What you will need
* Expertise in your field with a desire to grow within a dynamic team
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an affiliate marketing role within agency, network, publisher, or client-side
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
