This role is in our thriving Vehicle Telematics business, helping us to deliver software projects of varying size and scope that have real-world impact with our customers. This role is eligible for hybrid working, based in Crewe for a minimum of 3 days per week. Our Telematics head office in Arden Square, Crewe, Cheshire provides an outstanding working environment, complete with cafe, pizzeria, barista counter, rooftop bar and more. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis: Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate business requirements into clear technical solutions. Project Management: Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to development, testing, and post-go-live support. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business units to elicit requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular progress updates. Planning & Execution: Develop robust project plans, proactively manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. Hands-On Involvement: Get involved in key project activities, including solution design, testing, user training, and documentation as needed. Ownership & Support: Drive project success and provide ongoing business support to ensure long-term value. Technical Understanding: Develop a deep knowledge of the systems and technologies to support informed decision-making and problem resolution. What do we expect of you? Essential Skills Proven experience managing complex software development projects from inception to completion. Strong business analysis capabilities, with expertise in gathering and documenting detailed requirements. Proven ability to manage budgets, estimates, and financial tracking for projects. A solid technical background, enabling effective communication with development teams and stakeholders. Excellent reporting skills, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and challenges to senior management. Ability to break down large challenges into structured, actionable deliverables. Personal Attributes Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness. Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in both structured and fast-moving environments. A strategic thinker with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives effectively. Comfortable working in waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery models.
