Class 1 Casual Driver, Days
Ad-hoc hours
Do you have Class 1 (CE) UK Licence?
Do you enjoy working on a casual basis, as and when required?

The position of Class 1 Casual Driver involves:
* Casual position covering sickness, holidays and working in peak periods.
* Making multi drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses across North Devon.
* Loading/unloading of vehicle, using tail lift and pump trucks, ensuring load security.
* Planning route on a day to day basis.
* Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
* Working closely with the network hubs.
* Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
* Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills for Class 1 Casual Driver:
* Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
* Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
* Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
* Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
* Working to deadlines.
* Confident, polite and a team player.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
