Parts Sales Executive - London East (TPS Parts Sales Executive) – Join to apply
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group and operates a national network of TPS Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce. The role sits within a franchise-like agency model where Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK.
Location: London, England, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
* Work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver the Centre’s business plan and sales objectives
* Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers
* Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements
* Utilise product promotions effectively to achieve targets
* Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
* Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact by phone and face-to-face visits
* Provide high levels of service: understand requirements, respond to requests, progress orders and give expert advice
* Provide timely communication to customers on credit status
* Support TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent service
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager and peers to achieve sales targets with a joined-up approach
* Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries within KPIs using approved greeting
* Ensure proper and accurate use of systems to search and order parts
* Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly
* Deal with cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines
Qualifications
* A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
* Confident and capable communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
* Passion for providing excellent customer service
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
* A team player with drive to achieve individual and sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis
* Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
* IT literate, preferably with MS Excel knowledge
* A passion for the automotive industry
