Job Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards. Duties
* Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
* Serve food and beverages to customers with a friendly and attentive approach
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
* Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
* Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous
* Understanding of food safety practices is essential
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
* Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
* Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
