Overview
Community Adult Learning Disability Service (CALDS) seeks an Occupational Therapist to support adults with a learning disability.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete holistic assessments to identify barriers to participation.
* Plan and deliver person‑centred interventions using collaborative goal setting.
* Manage own caseload and work across key workstreams (Occupation, Independent Living Skills, Sensory Processing, Environment).
* Contribute to planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional and service developments.
* Provide supervision and support to Band 4 OT staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Band 5 or Band 6 Occupational Therapist with relevant experience.
* Strong communication skills to work with individuals with complex health and sensory processing needs.
* Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and supervision of junior staff.
* Ability to meet band 5‑6 development competencies within the agreed timeframe.
* Experience in learning disability or related fields preferred.
