Grade: MPS/UPS (Depending on experience)
Our client, a dynamic and inclusive secondary academy based in Thamesmead, is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of History to join their Humanities department on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will inspire a love of History and support pupils in developing strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 if applicable)
* Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes progress for all pupils
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and effective feedback
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
* Engage in the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extra-curricular activities
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a strong team ethos
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A strong subject knowledge and passion for History
* A proven track record of effective classroom practice and student progress
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A reflective and proactive approach to teaching and professional development
