Daily duties will consist of but are not limited to:-
12. Operating and driving Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
13. Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
14. Ensuring timely, safe and professional deliveries to customer sites
15. Knowledge of driving/working hours
16. Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
17. Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
18. Keeping the truck and equipment clean and tidy
Essential Skills
19. Must have held licence minimum 12 months
20. Must have minimum 12 months experience in HGV driving
21. No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
22. Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.
23. Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
24. Effective communication skills.
25. Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
26. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
27. Must be punctual and have good timekeeping
28. Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
