We are actively recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work as the main QS initially on a 9 million housing development in Salford, leading on to projects around Liverpool and Greater Manchester on behalf of our main contractor client on a Permanent basis. Key responsibilities: * Manage project budgets, costs, and cash flow. * Prepare monthly cost-value reports and financial forecasts. * Oversee the procurement and management of subcontractors. * Negotiate contracts, handle variations, and resolve disputes. * Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients. * Build and maintain strong client relationships. * Mentor junior quantity surveying staff. * Ensure projects comply with health and safety regulations. Academic qualifications: * Previous Quantity Surveyor mixed-use Construction or Refurbishment expereince necessary. * A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is desired. * Professional qualifications and RICS membership would be highly valued for this position.
