Job Description
P&L Recruitment are working exclusively with a rapidly expanding organisation based in Glasgow to recruit a full-time permanent Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a highly successful team with an award winning client. This is an office based role within a collaborative team culture. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will work across multiple entities, and liaise with internal teams, clients, and external Accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing day-to-day accounts for two companies
* Sales ledger duties
* Raising and processing invoices, credit notes, and applications for payment
* Credit control and debt chasing
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing customer payments and remittances
* Assisting with month-end procedures and reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate financial records
Main requirements:
* Previous sales ledger experience is essential
* Xero experience would be preferred
* Highly organised and proactive
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be able to work independently
The salary is 30K. The hours are 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. My client offers a great team environment, generous holidays and free onsite parking. If you have the experience, we would love to hear from you!
