NTEX Limited is a leading shipping and freight forwarding company, specialising in direct services to Scandinavia, as well as mainland Europe. NTEX offer competitive, flexible and customised transport and logistics solutions for land, sea and air.
We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team.
Role description – depending on experience
· Export operations and administration for Export Full Loads from UK & IE
· Plan Irish Imports transiting via UK to IE – both Full loads and Groupage
· Customer Services
· Take bookings and create in our internal software
· Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines
· All aspects of full load export operations including on call rota
· Completing Export Customs Clearances – using Descartes/Destin8
· Completing Export Transit Documentation – using Descartes
Person specification:
· 3 Years' Experience is required - Exports / Imports / Groupage or FTL
· A confident and approachable person
· A high level of organisation and attention to detail
· Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
· Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
· A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
· IT literate
· A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
Hours of work:
· Monday to Friday hours (overtime as and when required)
· On call one week in 5 - taking calls on weekday evenings / and working Saturday morning until finish (the candidate then gets Monday afternoon off)
The package bracket £26-£29k - negotiable reflecting the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
