About the Role
Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity to ensure young people have the best chance to live the lives they deserve?
We are now hiring full-time (39 hours per week on a rota basis) Care & Support Workers for a mix of day AND night shifts, at our Footprints home in rural Stodmarsh, Canterbury. We seek individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of young people with physical and complex health needs.

As a Care and Support Worker at Footprints, you'll:
* Improve health and wellbeing and provide personal care to young people using our services.
* Meet all aspects of their personal and emotional care.
* Promote their independence and developmental opportunities.
* Assist in arranging trips, outings, holidays, and accompany young people when required.
* Support the running of the home, keeping it clean and adhering to health and safety standards.

Shift times include:
* Split Shift: 6.30am – 10am and 3pm – 8pm
* Late: 3pm – 8pm
* Early: 6.30am – 10am
* Nights: 7.30pm – 8am

Our ideal Care and Support Worker will:
* Communicate clearly with young people, adapting to their needs.
* Deliver high-quality care, maximising independence and enjoyment.
* Use initiative to develop activities for service users.
* Work confidently without constant supervision, seeking advice when needed.
* Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with stakeholders.
* Hold a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to attain it.
Additional Advantage: Being a driver is beneficial, especially given the rural location of Footprints.
