We are seeking a seasoned Transformation Lead with infrastructure technology expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills to address major challenges and unlock opportunities aligned with the long-term technology and commercial strategies of the Global Technology Infrastructure Services (GTIS) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) organizations.
The role of GTIS is to build and operate a scalable, highly available utility infrastructure, leveraging enterprise scale to optimize hardware and software costs. The CTO oversees over 3,000 business applications, aiming to deliver a world-class technology landscape with robust controls and a commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Analyzing and negotiating third-party supplier agreements, applying commercial strategies to deliver solutions to clients.
* Managing procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationships within complex regulatory environments, including financial services and cloud platforms.
* Evaluating hardware, software, and service contracts to recommend optimal terms based on performance, cost, and scalability.
Valued Skills:
* Experience with virtualization, containerization, and migrating from legacy systems.
* Strategic planning capabilities for 3-4 year horizons.
* Leadership in virtual team building, emphasizing talent, diversity, and inclusion.
The role will be based in our Knutsford office and involves building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms through automation, best practices, and incident management.
