Senior Accounts Assistant – CIS experienced (Construction Industry Scheme)Reed Accountancy are recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Coventry based client.This role is full time, permanent and office based.I am seeking an experienced CIS Senior Accounts Assistant to manage the financial administration of construction-related operations, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). The successful candidate will oversee subcontractor verification, monthly returns, payments, and accurate financial record-keeping. In addition to.• Manage day to day financial transactions including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations. • Post invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately into the accounting system XERO.• Handle supplier statements, payment runs, and aged creditor reports. • Assist with month end preparation including accruals, prepayments, and financial reports.• Assisting with payroll
Essential skills and experience for this role• Strong knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).• Proven accounts experience within the construction sector.• Proficiency with accounting software Xero.• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.• Excellent communication skills when dealing with subcontractors.• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, especially monthly CIS cycles,
