Job Description
We are seeking an organised and efficient Stores Operative to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory flow, and maintaining accurate stock records.
* receipting and processing of part deliveries
* collating and checking of parts for supply to the manufacturing area
* loading and unloading of deliveries and dispatch
* packing and dispatch of finished products including machinery
* general stores duties.
* Flexibility to work in other departments, after suitable training, with the opportunity to grow skills in different disciplines
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is preferred
* Proficiency in inventory management and stock control systems
* Basic computer skills for data entry and using warehouse management software
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Physical fitness to handle lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
* Forklift certification
* Ability to commute to our Bristol warehouse location
