Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Financial Accounting Assistant.
The Company: is a leading Hotel and Leisure business based in the city of London.
The Role: is to support the finance operations team with a broad range of accounting duties incl:- account and credit card reconciliations, support income auditors and analysts by preparing data and reviewing revenue streams. Ledger controls, cash books, bank reconciliations assisting with the month/year end close off process. incl:-assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts and forecast/budget cycle. Assisting the Financial Accounting Manager with Ad-hoc projects and financial reports.
The person:- Graduate, part qualified and currently studying (AAT or early stage ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2/3 years previous accounting experience. Actively contribute to process improvements, automating routine tasks where possible, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly and professionally. Self motivated, keen and eager to add value with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder interaction, pro active get involved approach. Good all round excel skills
