Job Summary
Apollo Warwickshire North Primary Care Network (PCN) is seeking newly qualified GPs (within the last 2 years) with no substantive post to join our dynamic team of five practices. Candidates should be enthusiastic, forward‑thinking, and ready to provide high‑quality care across the network.

Apollo PCN brings together Hazelwood Group Practice, Hartshill Health Centre, Rugby Road Surgery, Woodlands Surgery and Stockingford Medical Centre to deliver proactive, patient‑centred care. We operate a multidisciplinary Frailty Hub model and value collaboration, innovation and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake home visits for patients who are housebound or unable to attend surgery.
* Provide comprehensive, timely and evidence‑based care: diagnose, treat and follow up patients across acute and chronic conditions.
* Work closely with practice staff, community health teams, pharmacists and other PCN members to ensure seamless continuity of care.
* Record and document all patient encounters, clinical assessments and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
* Offer triage and appropriate referrals to secondary care when needed, providing feedback to referring clinicians.
* Advise patients on general health and minor ailments, and manage minor conditions through the primary health care team.
* Support the hub and community teams as an autonomous practitioner, maintaining high professional standards and effective communication within the workforce.
* Participate in audit, evaluation and practice improvement activities.
* Report directly to the Operations Director.
Essential Qualifications
* Fully registered with the GMC and NHS England.
* Newly qualified GP holding a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice within the last two years.
* Full UK professional registration and right to work in the UK.
* Appropriate medical indemnity insurance and DBS check.
* Experience of working in a GP practice or primary care setting is expected.
* Proficient in electronic health records and committed to ongoing professional development.

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently.
* Passion for improving healthcare outcomes and ability to embrace new technologies.
Contract and Working Pattern
* Fixed term, 365 days, full‑time or part‑time.
* Pay under the PCN DES (£10,000 per session) to be discussed.
* Location: 27 Parkfield Road, Coleshill, Birmingham B46 3LD (with additional practice sites within the network).
