We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for our client based in Burntwood.


This is a hybrid role and employees will be expected to work and travel (when required) from/to both the Stoke and Burntwood site.


The ideal candidate will add value to the orders from all customers by providing an enhanced and superior level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.


Working within internal sales/commercial team to further develop the profitable sales of Stoke and Gradient solutions and products to defined customer trade sectors including Roofing & Cladding Contractors, Distributors & Merchants, System manufacturers and the Specification market


Key accountabilities

* Main point of contact for incoming Customer emails & requests - acting as a filter for customers’ requests around pricing, service & complaints where appropriate, with support from the management teams acting on the same day so that customer receives what they require
* To provide customer quotations including the preparation of quotes for bespoke products with support from the commercial team as required
* To call customers on a routine basis with offers and customer care
* Timely processing of PODs, invoice requests and complaints including follow up
* Continuous improvement of all sales processes and procedures
* Organising and sending literature and general customer communications in line with business updates
* Assist with the initial enquiry of projects and booking in projects using MS Teams and the CRM system
* Maintenance of the automated system and working with hauliers to achieve best service
* Ordering and communicating stock from internal and external suppliers
* Supporting RAM/ASMs where appropriate to deliver excellent service
* Engaging in daily calls to customers to support RAM/ASMs
* Support Commercial Manager with queries/reports
* Providing interim support to technical help desk when applicable


Key performance indicators

* Timely processing of customer enquiries, quotations and orders
* Timely responses and resolution of customer queries and complaints
* All Gradient customer price lists updated/ checked periodically and adjusted in event of cost price increases or other commercial adjustments.


Hours and salary

This role is to start in June on a Temporary basis working Monday - Friday - 9AM - 5PM.

This is a paid weekly role with a salary of £27,000.
