Facilities Assistant Role - Birchwood Park, Warrington
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join our team at our site based in Birchwood Park, Warrington. This is an exciting time to advance your career. As a Facilities Assistant, you will support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests from all business areas.
* Conduct routine inspections and surveys, identifying faults.
* Manage and complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
* Perform reception duties, including contractor supervision.
* Engage with internal and external facilities contacts.
* Coordinate facilities projects, providing support and guidance.
* Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, furniture moving, and lighting.
* Arrange and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, ensuring follow-up actions.
* Investigate and resolve facilities-related issues, including those from risk assessments, audits, and inspections.
* Maintain detailed records of all facilities activities and projects.
* Process requisitions and follow up on orders and invoices.
* Support audits, customer visits, and compliance activities.
* Assist operational teams in maintaining laboratory capabilities.
* Stay informed of developments in facilities management and assess their relevance to the business.
* Complete administrative tasks related to facilities management.
* Support the National Facilities team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills

Additional Information
Security clearance is required due to the sensitive nature of the work. Applicants must have five years of continuous UK residency.
