Job Summary:
My client is a hugely successful wastewater engineering solutions company and is part of a global leading water treatment enterprise.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, wastewater or environmental with a keen eye on Commercial, Operations, Finance and more. The role would require a strong MEICA knowledge/background, ideally within the water or utilities sector. A proven track record of managing operations and driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational performance and achieve business objectives.
* Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of operations and alignment with company goals.
* Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
* Manage budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Finance, or a related field would be beneficial
* Extensive experience in the engineering, utilities or environmental sector, with a deep understanding of industry trends and challenges.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in environmental management.
