Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled API Integration Build Lead (Manager) to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of API integrations with a screening system in a financial services environment. This role requires a strong technical background in .NET development, Azure cloud services, and batch processing systems, along with experience in leading offshore development teams.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration, optimizing system performance, and maintaining high coding standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development:
· Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of API integrations with a screening system.
· Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows for the team.
· Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
· Design and build high-throughput batch processing applications, including FTP-based data exchanges.
· Ensure system performance optimization and proactively troubleshoot integration issues.
Team & Project Management
· Manage and coordinate offshore development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
· Collaborate with compliance, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
· Maintain comprehensive technical documentation aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Technology & Tools
· Utilize .NET (C#), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management for integration development.
· Work with batch processing systems, FTP protocols, and cloud-based data exchanges.
· Monitor and enhance API performance, security, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
· 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
· Strong expertise in .NET (C#) and Azure cloud services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management).
· Hands-on experience with batch processing systems and FTP protocols.
· Proven track record of managing offshore development teams effectively.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
· Experience in financial services or regulatory compliance environments.
· Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
· Knowledge of security best practices for API integrations (OAuth, JWT, encryption).
· Certifications in Azure (AZ-204, AZ-400) or related cloud technologies.
· Banking domain exp preferred
