Home Manager
Lighthouse Lodge Care Home, New Brighton, Wirral CH45 0JZ. Full time, 40 hours per week.
Salary: £70,000 to £75,000 per annum, 40% KPI bonus, private healthcare, pension scheme, 5.6 weeks annual leave.
Overview
Lighthouse Lodge is an established 80‑bed residential and dementia care home with 74 residents. Rated Requires Improvement by the CQC, the role focuses on consistent compliance, leadership, and raising standards.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and embed compliance improvements ahead of reinspection.
* Strengthen governance and quality assurance frameworks.
* Drive occupancy while maintaining strong fee integrity.
* Maintain a zero‑agency workforce.
* Develop and mentor an ambitious deputy and senior team.
* Build relationships with commissioners and the local community.
Qualifications / Experience
* Minimum two years experience as a Home Manager.
* Strong CQC track record and experience managing compliance action plans.
* Proven ability to lead a financially successful care home.
* Commercial awareness of occupancy, budgets, and fee management.
* Experience managing residential and/or dementia services of similar size.
* Excellent stakeholder management with commissioners and regulators.
* Mentoring mindset, developing future leaders.
* No need for a Nurse PIN to register.
