Job Title: HR Assistant Location: Office based Reports To: Head of HR and Compliance Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: £25-28,000 Benefits Opportunity overview The HR Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR function, ensuring effective delivery of HR services and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role supports the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding and documentation to training coordination and employee queries. Working closely with the Head of HR and Compliance, the HR Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases in line with GDPR and internal compliance requirements. Support the coordination of onboarding, training sessions, performance reviews, and probation processes. Support the management of the employee equipment asset register, booking stock in and out and monitoring of stock levels. Working closely with third party IT support setting up equipment such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones in line with company policies. Respond to day-to-day HR queries from employees and managers in a timely and professional manner. Help ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with employment legislation. Prepare HR documentation including policy communications, and meeting notes. Requirements Required Experience & Qualifications · Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role (ideally within financial services or a fast-paced corporate environment). · Solid understanding of confidentiality, data protection (GDPR), and basic HR processes. · Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) · Experience with HR systems would be advantageous · Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and communication skills. · Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism. · Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
