We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader (NVQ Level 3) to join our care team. This role is ideal for someone with proven care experience who is ready to step into leadership, support staff, and ensure high standards of care delivery.
As Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of shifts, lead by example, and provide guidance to care staff. You will play a key part in supporting residents to live with dignity, choice, and independence while meeting regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support care staff during shifts.
* Oversee daily care delivery and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
* Support the development of individual care plans and risk assessments.
* Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and training support.
* Manage shift handovers and ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Administer and oversee medication in line with policies.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Previous experience as a Senior Carer, Shift Leader, or similar role.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, medication administration, and care planning.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
