Are you a Personal Tax professional looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive, forward-thinking firm?
We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded chartered accountancy firm in Croydon who are looking to expand their growing tax team. With around 30 staff and excellent staff retention, this firm offers a stable and collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
You’ll be joining a close-knit tax team, taking ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio and building long-term relationships with clients. This role is ideal for someone who’s ambitious, proactive, and looking for clear progression — with a view to stepping into a Tax Manager position in the near future.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, directors, and sole traders
* Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
* Assisting with ad hoc advisory and planning work as you progress
* Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice
* ATT qualified or working towards qualification (ACA/ACCA or CTA support available if desired)
* A positive attitude and strong communication skills
* Keen interest in developing into a Tax Manager role in the near future
