What You'll Be Doing
Leading the Delivery Team:
* Oversee daily delivery operations and ensure smooth functioning.
* Plan deliveries and ensure accurate, safe loading.
* Conduct plant/vehicle checks and manage outbound deliveries.
Driving Commercial Success:
* Implement the store's sales plan and make sound commercial decisions.
* Maximize delivery service profitability and promote monthly offers.
* Handle customer inquiries and upsell Selco services.
Empowering and Developing the Team:
* Set direction and assign tasks, monitoring results.
* Conduct training, briefings, and inductions for direct reports and drivers.
* Foster a high-support, high-challenge environment and empower colleagues.
Operational Leadership & On-Duty Responsibility:
* Act as the senior leader, managing store operations and resolving issues.
* Ensure clear communication and handovers between shifts.
* Serve as a key holder, responsible for opening/closing and security.
Service & Store Culture:
* Inspire and lead by example, setting the standard for customer service.
* Promote teamwork and recognize colleagues who embody core values.
* Ensure safe, ethical, and compliant store operations.
