Finance Data Solutions Analyst
Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package
Location: Swindon/Fareham/UK Hybrid working

What will you be doing?
* Work with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes and identify data requirements that support Finance activities.
* Translate business needs into structured documentation, including data requirements, process maps, data flows, and user stories.
* Support the delivery of data products aligned to the Finance transformation roadmap.
* Contribute to data governance by helping define data definitions, quality rules, lineage, and ownership models.
* Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and the Central Data Office (CDO) to ensure solutions are well-governed and aligned to standards.
* Support testing, validation, and adoption of new data capabilities, ensuring they meet business needs and are embedded into ways of working.
* Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline processes, and reduce manual effort across Finance.
What are we looking for?
* Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Business Analyst, ideally in a Finance, data, or transformation context.
* Strong analytical and documentation skills; able to structure problems, define requirements, and produce clear deliverables.
* Good understanding of Finance processes and how data supports Finance activities.
* Comfortable working with data, including experience with Excel, SQL, or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI).
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to work with both business and technical teams.
* Familiarity with data governance concepts and a desire to improve data quality and control.
* Organised, delivery-focused, and able to manage your own workload within a team environment.
