Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting a Chemistry Teacher to work in a supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Liverpool, teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable teacher to join a well-resourced science department with an immediate start.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start, and could lead to a long-term or permanent role for the right candidate.

About the Role:
4. Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to pupils from KS3 through to A-Level (KS5).
5. Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that support progress and achievement across a range of abilities.
6. Contribute to the wider science department, including practical science, curriculum planning, and enrichment activities.
Ideal Candidates Will Be:
7. Qualified to teach Chemistry to GCSE and A-Level, with QTS or equivalent.
8. Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service, if not already completed.
9. Able to provide employment references covering the last 5 years.
