Apprentice Customer Service Freight Forwarder
A fast:paced, customer:facing apprenticeship supporting the end:to:end movement of freight. Youll act as a key link between customers, transport providers, and internal teams, ensuring shipments run smoothly and customers stay fully informed at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for customers, providing clear, timely updates on shipment progress
* Proactively communicate delays, changes, or issues and manage expectations
* Liaise with hauliers and airlines to gather real:time shipment and schedule information
* Monitor jobs from start to finish, ensuring service levels are met
* Respond promptly to customer queries via phone, email, and internal systems
* Maintain accurate records of communications and job activity
* Build strong working relationships with transport partners and colleagues
* Identify and escalate potential service issues to minimise disruption
* Deliver professional, high:quality customer service at all times

Salary of A GBP 17,500 with company benefits to include:

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (37.5 hours a week)
