Job overview
The Bristol NHS Group is seeking a Group Temporary Staffing Systems Administrator. To provide high-quality system, finance and data support to the Temporary Staffing teams across the hospital group, which includes production of daily reporting, managing incoming invoices and data validation and maintaining accurate records.
Main duties
* Produce daily reports and maintain accurate records.
* Manage incoming invoices and perform data validation.
* Prepare, input and extract data from systems ensuring accuracy for stakeholders.
* Handle routine queries from internal and external staff and agencies related to temporary staffing data, performance and finance.
Person specification
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
* Understanding of information governance and handling of confidential information.
* Experience of managing own workload and meeting deadlines independently.
* Experience in systems, finance or administration in a busy, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Knowledge of Excel and experience of producing data reports.
* Previous NHS experience.
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and in person) when interacting with colleagues, internal departments and external stakeholders.
* Proven accuracy in both written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, maintaining a high standard of customer service despite frequent interruptions or urgent demands.
* Confident user of Microsoft Office applications and related software, including databases and spreadsheets, with experience inputting and updating electronic records.
* Demonstrated ability to use initiative and sound judgement to deliver a responsive, customer-focused service.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to support changing priorities and team needs.
* Reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Qualifications and Training
* English & Maths GCSE (Grade 5 or above) or equivalent level.
* Recognised IT qualification e.g. ECDL.
* Self-motivator with high standards.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Reliable.
* Respectful and supportive in a team environment.
