The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that explore a range of religions, beliefs, and ethical issues
* Encourage students to think critically, reflect deeply, and engage in respectful debate
* Support students of all abilities through inclusive and differentiated teaching
* Prepare students for GCSE Religious Studies examinations
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
* Support extracurricular opportunities such as debate clubs, enrichment activities, or themed events
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, including form tutoring

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education
* Is eager to develop their teaching practice as an Early Career Teacher
* Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
* Is reflective, open-minded, and committed to ongoing professional development
