Position: Senior Installation Engineer Location: West London As a Senior Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality equipment installations across a range of environments. You will work closely with the design, project management, and commissioning teams to ensure all systems are installed to the highest standards, fully operational, and presented in a neat and professional manner. Key Responsibilities * System Installation: Install, configure, and commission all systems for meeting rooms, auditoriums, and other environments, ensuring all systems meet client requirements and industry standards. * Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert fault-finding, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for all systems, resolving technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime. * Team Leadership & Mentoring: Supervise and mentor junior engineers, offering guidance, training, and support to promote best practices and technical development. * System Inspection & Testing: Conduct visual inspections and functional testing to ensure all AV systems are installed in a neat, safe, and serviceable condition. * Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their AV needs, provide tailored solutions, and maintain strong professional relationships through clear communication and reliable project delivery. * Documentation: Produce and maintain accurate as-built documentation, including system configurations, layouts, and troubleshooting information Technical Skills * Strong expertise in audio and video equipment installation and troubleshooting. * Experience with AV control systems or similar. * Solid understanding of signal types and signal flow, including networking and IP-based AV systems. * Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and layout drawings. * Proficient in the termination and testing of AV cabling. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. * Meticulous attention to detail with a high standard of workmanship. * Full UK driving licence (essential)
