About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Estimator to join a growing construction clients team in Newquay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry. Full training will be provided, so while experience is beneficial, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders
2. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents
3. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
4. Supporting the senior estimating team with project cost analysis
5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation
About You
6. Educated to A-Level or degree level (preferred but not essential)
7. A strong understanding of Maths
8. Some knowledge or understanding of construction.
9. Eager to learn with a strong work ethic
10. Enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented
11. Good numerical and communication skills and be IT literate
