Your new role
As Head of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organisation, ensuring strong control and compliance while driving efficiency and supporting growth. Reporting to an excellent Finance Director with a genuine passion for developing staff and fostering a finance business partnering culture, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation's financial future.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the annual budgeting cycle
2. Ensuring financial control and statutory compliance
3. Managing VAT, Corporation Tax, and CIS obligations
4. Overseeing payroll services
5. Supporting strategic decision-making at the executive level
6. Partnering with operational teams across multiple sites
7. Streamlining financial processes and procedures
This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to influence financial strategy and contribute to long-term success.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in a senior finance role. You will bring strong technical expertise in financial reporting, tax, and compliance, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Experience in multi-site operations and a commitment to continuous improvement will be essential. A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation will be key to thriving in this you'll get in return
