Role Description

This is a hands-on, full-time, on-site role based at our St Albans HQ. You will lead the creation of high-quality visual assets across digital, marketing, and product channels, with a strong focus on branding, brochures, and scalable design systems.



You will also collaborate closely with UX/UI to ensure visual consistency across web and product experiences, while leveraging modern AI tools to increase speed, quality, and efficiency in your workflow.



Core Responsibilities

Brand & Marketing Design

• Design and maintain consistent brand assets across all channels (digital, print, presentations)

• Create high-quality brochures, product catalogues, and promotional PDFs

• Produce social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) aligned with brand strategy

• Design visuals for email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp or similar platforms)

• Develop polished, modern PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use



Product & Technical Design

• Create and format technical product datasheets with clarity and precision

• Translate complex product information into visually engaging, easy-to-understand layouts

• Edit, retouch, and optimise product imagery for web and marketing use



UI/UX Support

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to support web and digital product interfaces

• Design UI components, layouts, and visual assets that align with design systems

• Ensure brand consistency across web experiences and digital touchpoints

• Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and style guides



Motion & Digital Content

• Create simple motion graphics, animations, or interactive visuals for presentations and web

• Support digital storytelling through visual content and lightweight animation



AI-Driven Workflow & Optimisation

• Use AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly, GPT, Runway) to accelerate concepting, asset creation, and production

• Automate repetitive design and admin tasks where possible

• Integrate AI into workflows for ideation, image generation, content drafting, and layout assistance

• Stay up to date with emerging AI tools and incorporate best practices into daily work



Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Web/UX teams to align outputs with business goals

• Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines without compromising quality

• Maintain organised file structures and scalable workflows



Requirements

Design Expertise

• 3–5 years’ experience in graphic or digital design

• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, brochures, and marketing materials

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Excellent layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills

• Strong understanding of brand systems and consistency



Digital & UI Awareness

• Experience designing for web, email, and social platforms

• Understanding of UI design principles (spacing, accessibility, responsiveness)

• Ability to support UX/UI workflows and collaborate with product teams



Technical Skills

• Strong image editing and retouching abilities

• Confident working with vector graphics and technical layouts

• Comfortable creating presentations in PowerPoint or similar tools



AI & Modern Tools

• Experience using AI tools in design workflows (image generation, content, automation)

• Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and refine to production quality

• Interest in emerging technologies and workflow optimisation



Workflow & Communication

• Highly organised with strong time management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
