ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, CALVIN KLEIN - BICESTER VILLAGE
Responsibilities
* Lead store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
* Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration.
* Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for the sales floor and back room.
* Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding between VM and store teams.
* Partner with the store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
* Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers and ensure accountability in building a repeat customer base.
* Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory levels.
* Communicate to the Store Manager what is driving sales, discuss any issues or priorities, and develop strategies to maximize business and weekly visual presentation action plans.
* Analyze store‑level reports and create action plans to improve results.
* Assist with manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes; recruit store personnel with a broad range of perspectives.
* Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
* Participate in weekly management meetings alongside other staff meetings.
* Clearly communicate to staff store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations; provide guidance on what is needed to improve performance.
* Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
Qualifications
* Connect to consumers and have a previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
* Have previous people‑management experience and act with purpose to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
* Effectively communicate with the ability to cultivate belonging.
* Collaborate to win and recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of others.
* Be courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
* Adapt fast and work at pace.
* Be energetic and inspire trust, showing a clear presence on the shop floor.
* Approach all issues with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and make informed decisions to find in‑store solutions.
