The Role
This is a full-time role based at our new HQ in Aldford, on the outskirts of Chester, with occasional travel to restaurants.
As a member of the Reservations Team, you will be responsible for managing reservations for a specific area of restaurants. You will collaborate with your Area Manager & Senior Res Coordinator on table plan & booking setup, maximize bookings, communicate with your AM & GMs, and serve as the first point of contact for your GMs.
Guest
* Responsible for the guest experience across all channels - telephone, email & social media (inbound & outbound)
* Creating, amending, and confirming guest reservations
* Handling guest queries
* Managing large parties, including corporate bookings
* Driving bookings via email, social media, and outbound calls
* Securing deposits & pre-orders
* Understanding and anticipating guest needs
* Exhibiting strong communication skills across all channels and face-to-face interactions
* Handling objections & complaints professionally, offering effective solutions
Systems
* Understanding back-of-house setups on Zonal, including new openings, covers per session, tables, layouts, and event setups
* Knowledge of reporting technical issues on platforms like Zonal, Digitel, Think Cirrus, Toggle, Guest XM
* Regular reporting using Live Res/Flow System
Team
* Building professional relationships within the department and with restaurant teams
* Collaborating openly with Marketing, Training, Operations, and Finance departments
