As Chief Finance Officer, your primary role is to provide strategic leadership necessary to secure ongoing financial sustainability, long-term stability, and robust governance for our client’s organisation.
* Fully qualified accountant (e.g., CIPFA, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) with current membership of a recognised professional body.
* Demonstrable success in delivering financial recovery, efficiency programmes, or major financial change initiatives.
* Skilled in translating financial plans into delivery, monitoring impact, and maintaining rigorous oversight.
* Strong influencing, collaboration, and communication skills, with confidence in advising senior leaders and board members.
* Strategic thinker with a practical delivery focus and strong personal credibility.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, board members and budget holders on financial performance.
